Ryanair is offering special discounts on fares for its newly-expanded Leeds Bradford-Alicante route – but only until tomorrow. Coinciding with its announcement of increased winter 2023-2024 frequencies on four routes including Leeds Bradford to Alicante-Elche Miguel Hernández Airport, the low-cost airline said passengers could buy tickets from £19.99. To take advantage of the offer, they must be booked by Saturday 14 October, and they are available only at www.ryanair.com.
“Ryanair is pleased to announce our winter 2023-2024 schedule at Leeds Bradford Airport,” said director of digital and marketing Dara Brady, “with 14 routes including a new winter sun route to Porto, as well as increased frequencies on another four winter sun and city break routes, offering Ryanair customers in the wider Yorkshire and Humber region unbeatable choice at the lowest fares.
“This schedule will operate on Ryanair’s three based aircraft at Leeds Bradford Airport, representing a €300 million investment and supporting over 1,100 local jobs. This includes, for the first winter at Leeds Bradford, the quieter, lower-emission ‘Gamechanger’ aircraft.”
Ryanair has also announced a “groundbreaking seat offer” throughout its overall network during the festive period, with fares available from €24.99 (until 31 October) for travel between 15 December and 7 January.
“Ryanair has been bringing families, friends and loved ones together for over 38 Christmases,” said Elena Cabrera, country manager in Spain and Portugal, “and, as Europe’s number one airline for low fares and reliability, there’s no better option to make sure you can deliver your Christmas presents on time and on budget, whether it’s heading home for a quiet Christmas, hitting the slopes for an exciting ski vacation or chasing the winter sun.”
Earlier this month, Ryanair released details of its full winter schedule for Alicante. “Not only are we adding 68 routes, which include three new destinations to Budapest, Paderborn and Warsaw,” said Cabrera, “but we are also committed to increasing frequencies to popular city break destinations such as London, Brussels, Milan and Dublin. In addition, this winter schedule will be operated on Ryanair’s nine aircraft based at Alicante-Elche Miguel Hernandez International Airport, representing an investment of $900 million and supporting 270 aviation professionals through well-paying jobs. We are proud to continue boosting connectivity, tourism and employment in Alicante.”
